TICO (Technology Innovation Commercialization Office)

The office aims to maximize the future benefit from the production technology of research, ideas, experiences and inventions and to find opportunities to apply them in the concerned organizations in the fields of industry, commerce and resource development by drawing different strategies for marketing, transferring and managing knowledge and innovations at the hands of a specialized expert and achieving self-suffifficiency in financing the activities of the office over a period of three years from approval time.

The office is commi􀄴ed to transferring and marketing the technology outputs from the academy to the places of application, such as patents, graduation projects, training programs, and applied scientific research to the extent that allows the academy to lead among its counterparts from educational institutions within four years.

It can be summarized the contributions of the office as follows:

• Cooperation with the Academy of Scientific Research in achieving the goals of technology transfer and marketing
• Drawing up strategies for transferring and marketing the outputs of the office and its innovations in terms of invention readings and applied research.
• Cooperating with factories and companies in testing their winds and training students and researchers.
• Promotion of academic doctors, researchers, and innovative students to beneficiaries for their innovations, inventions, and creations.
• Cooperating with the community service sector in the academy and the scientific research sector in implementing the office's research strategic plan.
• The applied need gap for research in the context of community needs.
